Introduction

Mood swings are swift changes in one’s mood. They play positive as well as a negative role in human’s life. When mood swings trigger high they are considered to be rowdy.

Many people relate this situation to a Bipolar Disorder. Well is not properly true as people suffering from bipolar can suffer mood swings but a person suffering from mood swings are not always due to bipolar.
There are many reasons responsible for mood swings. Let’s say when you felt a drastic change in your behavior or habits. For example, if you are happy and suddenly start feeling bad that degree of change in your mood or emotions denotes mood swings.

1. Dehydration – This state refers to the loss of water from the body. Dehydration not only causes frequent mood swings but also responsible for headaches, loss of concentration, and tiredness.

2. Diet – Improper diet such as intake of sugar is responsible for triggering the mind state.

3. Lack of sleep – Overnight chatting with friends, late-night parties, and many more activities cause sleeping disturbance. This is a major cause of mood floating.

4. Anxiety – Feeling anxious makes you feel uncomfortable and restless this causes frequent changes to mood.

Mood Swings management

In practical terms, no one likes a ‘moody’ person very much. People either avoid him or live by drag. So if any of you are a victim of mood disorder, then know that you will have to struggle even more to live a normal life. Few things you can do to make your mood feel good.

Intake a limited amount of sugar, carbohydrate, fat, etc. in your diet. Eating magnesium foods, increase the amount of vitamin C in the diet, vitamin C provides energy to the body and an energetic person is naturally happy.
Exercise increases the secretion of a hormone namely ‘endorphin hormone’ in the body. This hormone not only improves the mood, plus it also leads to good sleep, and when 8 hours of restful sleep, the mood will automatically recover.

When your mind is very bad or does not feel good, then take a short bath with hot or cold water according to the weather, you will feel good immediately. Apart from this, make Lemonade and drink it comfortably with each sip. Lemonade is considered a ‘mood twister’ anyway. This will also calm the mind and the body will get energy so it is different.

If you are sleeping for 7-8 hours, then it is fine, but less sleep creates problems for health. Because one or two days is fine, but after that, irritability in nature, needless anger starts. So get into the habit of sleeping prematurely. This panacea is the cure for mood swings. If you have a good mood in the morning, then there is no stopping the day from getting better.

We all know that a good smell, that is, not only relieves fatigue but also acts as a mood upliftment. So whenever you feel dull, sprinkle room freshener in the house. Decorate fresh aromatic flowers. This idea may sound strange, but good smell or fragrance works to calm our restless mind, which makes us feel good all of a sudden.
